The Body Is Our Foundation

Have we considered the fact that our body is the foundation for everything that we do in life?

 

Yet in modern education we do not assign anywhere near the same value to the body as we allocate to the mind. The classical saying ‘mens sana in corpore sano' (a healthy mind in a healthy body) presents that this is a wholistically healthy way for us to live. 

When we ignore the body in this way, we are handing ourselves over to only standing on insubstantial foundations of shifting sand.

 

Bringing a depth of daily care and nurturing to the body develops a strong and true foundation from which to conduct ourselves as the absolute professionals that we are.
